Many
people do not see
themselves as a carer ...
They think of themselves as simply a mother, father, husband,
wife, son, daughter, friend, neighbour, etc. But whether you do
or not, caring can have a major impact on you – on your health,
your family, your job and your relationships with family and
friends. We can provide support to enable you to look at ways to
minimise the impact of caring
We are
a registered charity
We offer free and confidential support to ‘unpaid’ carers living
within Hambleton & Richmondshire. We are a local charity but are
part of
'CarersTrust'
Carers come in all ages
We have seperate support workers for
adult carers and, if you are under 18 years old, young carers.
All of our services are free
The majority of our funding for
services come from North Yorkshire County Council and North
Yorkshire and York Primary Care Trust.
